A Cairns to Port Douglas transfer with a child seat should not be something you have to chase up at the kerb. When you book, tell us each child's age and approximate weight and we fit the right restraint before the pickup: a rear-facing capsule for babies, a forward-facing child seat for toddlers, or a booster for older children. There is no charge for any of them.
Queensland law requires children under seven to travel in an approved restraint suited to their age, which is why we ask for the details in advance rather than guessing. If you would rather use your own seat, bring it along and we will help you fit it.
After a flight with small children, the door-to-door part matters most. Nobody else is on board, so you can stop for a nappy change or a carsick break without holding anyone up, and you are at the resort about an hour after leaving the terminal.
For a group transfer from Cairns to Port Douglas, one vehicle carries up to 7 passengers with their luggage. That covers most extended families, golf trips and wedding parties in a single car at $220 for 5–7 passengers, which works out at about $31–$44 a head.
Bigger group? We run two vehicles together, leaving at the same time. Send us your numbers on WhatsApp and we will quote for the whole party. Please also mention anything bulky such as golf bags, surfboards or a wheelchair so we can plan the space.
