Palm Cove to Port Douglas is roughly 42 km and takes about 45 minutes. Almost all of it is the winding section of the Captain Cook Highway between Ellis Beach and Oak Beach, where the road sits right above the water.
We pick up from any resort or apartment on Williams Esplanade and the streets behind it, and from the other Cairns Northern Beaches: Clifton Beach, Kewarra Beach, Trinity Beach and Yorkeys Knob. Prices from the other beaches are close to the Palm Cove price; ask us for a quote.
Because the leg is short, it also works well as a day out: a morning transfer to Port Douglas for the Sunday markets or a reef trip from the marina, and a return in the afternoon. Book both directions together and we will plan the times around your day.
